Trying to connect 2 monitors to my laptop but it won't work

Hi, i'm new to linux and still learning the basics and english isn't my first language so my apologies if i'm phrasing poorly.

I'm trying to connect 2 monitors to my laptop(Lenovo ideapad 320-15IKB) but it doesn't work.
I have only one HMDI port and when I connect each one of them in turn, it works.
Because I have only one HDMI port I bought :
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07RRPS5NT?psc … ct_details

So now, I connect one directly to my laptop and the other one through the hdmi port of the adaptor but for the latest I have
"input signal not found check the video cable and video source" on the monitor.
I tried to use the adaptor with another computer using Windows and everything works fine.

Monitors:
- https://www.amazon.fr/E24QG4-23-8IN-IPS … B08P1Z6Y28
- https://www.amazon.fr/Hewlett-Packard-1 … B0764HDSXF

I tried to find the answer in internet but couldn't find it.
Here's the output of different command I came accross on my research:

You can try your luck w/ https://github.com/FrescoLogic/

You probably got a windows driver w/ that thing? What's the name of the .exe file?

Re: Trying to connect 2 monitors to my laptop but it won't work

Hi,

Sorry for my late answer et thanks for yours seth but unfortunately it didn't work.

But I did succeed, here's how:

First, whatever I would have tried, it wouldn't have worked with USB C :
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Ide … -p/3994426
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Ide … -p/3934383
https://superuser.com/questions/1406423 … 20-ideapad

But, I found this:
http://unixetc.co.uk/2021/04/19/connect … i-adapter/

So, I bought this:
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B00BPEV1XK?psc … ct_details

Arch documentation to follow for DisplayLink:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DisplayLink

And it worked !
