Configuring a 4-way microphone

I've been running a `6.2.2-arch2-1` kernel and I would like to make sure that microphones are configured properly. There is a quite short description available here, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Lenovo … Microphone. It's not clear for me how to get things done. A couple of questions: how can I get a device index for DMIC16kHz and where exactly should I put this index, and finally how to make sure that I've configured it as needed? Hope, this thread would be useful for others too.

there is current state:

$ amixer
Simple mixer control 'Master',0
  Capabilities: pvolume pswitch pswitch-joined
  Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right
  Limits: Playback 0 - 65536
  Mono:
  Front Left: Playback 38586 [59%] [off]
  Front Right: Playback 37930 [58%] [off]
Simple mixer control 'Capture',0
  Capabilities: cvolume cswitch cswitch-joined
  Capture channels: Front Left - Front Right - Rear Left - Rear Right
  Limits: Capture 0 - 65536
  Front Left: Capture 30419 [46%] [on]
  Front Right: Capture 30419 [46%] [on]
  Rear Left: Capture 38295 [58%] [on]
  Rear Right: Capture 38295 [58%] [on]
