KDE Dolphin - natural sorting doesn't work?

I have set the sorting mode of KDE Dolphin to natural sorting, as shown in the first screenshot, but somehow it still doesn't work, as shown in the second screenshot. Has anyone encountered similar problems, and if so, how to solve it?

My Dolphin version is latest extra/dolphin 22.12.3-1 in the official repository.

Worksforme™ double check you are actually sorting by name in e.g. the right click -> sort menu.
