Hello, I have been running arch using the linux zen kernel and nvidia-dkms for the past few months, and I have never had any issues (specs i7 11800H & RTX 3070 mobile).
After my last reboot I was met with a black screen. After some digging around I tried the usual: running a general update, regenerating my xconfig and reinstalling xorg + drivers. nothing worked.
xrandr --auto and glxinfo give back a "can't open display" message. I could not find anything topic on forums that helped. I had not updated anything when this happened. any idea what might be going on? thanks in advance.

regenerating my xconfig
if your referring to /etc/X11/xorg.conf generated by nvidia-xconfig then delete that file and try again.
if that doesnt fix it can you post a journal log and xorg log
EDIT: i worded that 1st line badly, please dont use nvidia-xconfig ever !
