[SOLVED]Silent boot not working

Bootloader:GRUB UEFI
/etc/default/grub is as follows

based on information in the archwiki the vendor logo should be disabled by using `quiet` vender logo should be disabled but after updating systemd to 253.2-1 caused rebuild of image and after that while boot I am seeing the vendor logo
It did not exist before the update
Did not make any other changes during the update
Not using plymouth

The vendor logo can be disabled with the 'fbcon=nodefer' kernel parameter as described in the wiki.
