applet for music play control

i am searching for an applet i can add for my xfce4 desktop so i can have playback control for music form Firefox i know something like that exists for KDE but i cant find it for the life of me

You are looking for an MPRIS server. From what I'm reading https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … io-plugin/ should contain a setting to enable media player control.
