I did not allocate enough space to my root and swap partition during the installation, so I'm going to have to repartition my disk. I've also made a timeshift backup and I've rsynced it to another system so that I can use it to restore to my current configuration. Am I ready to repartition my device (is timeshift enough to create a backup and restore my configuration and all my files later)?
Also, how do I repartition my device with neither USB nor SSH? I'd like to create an LVM partition but I don't know how to go about it since it's my first time.
Much thanks.

Partitioning is part of the installation guide.
Furthermore LVM setup is also explained in the Wiki.

Can I just go ahead and login to tty2 and use fdisk with su rights to wipe nvme0n1 and then proceed to partition it?

You can extend the root partition to the right but not to the left on a running system, so no, you can't just force-wipe your root partition (thats on gparted, i don't know if it's possible on fdisk.Note you must configure the bootloader. ) if it's possible, keep your system running until you've copied it back. The rest can easily be partitioned.
I recommend to just get a live USB with a GUI (Ubuntu, gnome, etc) and resize them. Have done it countless times.
Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
