Lightdm service failed with result 'exit-code' after a fresh install

I already checked the wiki and uncommented the longind-check-graphical = true under [Lightdm]. I am totally lost. I still have access to the tty's but I open to a black screen with a blinking cursor.

For a chip as old as Intel 945GM, try xf86-video-intel

Edit: alternatively https://man.archlinux.org/man/extra/xor … n#Option~5 - but the graphics will be completely unaccelerated then.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
