gnome-videos / totem: meta-x-gst-fourcc-mebx decoder is required

I get the above error message when trying to play a video using gnome-videos / totem despiting having all gstreamer plugins installed mentioned in the arch wiki. I think I could play this video fine with my previous arch installation. Any ideas?

What kind of video file is this? Some googlers suggest something iPhone which likely if at all only supported by ffmpeg and by extension your only chance might be gst-libav, is that installed? Can you play it with ffmpeg/ffplay/mpv or so ?

Thanks for the quick reply!

It makes indeed sense that the video was recorded with an iPhone, although I am not completely sure. I can play it with ffplay and mpv. The totem properties say its an mp4 container using h.264 video and mpeg-4 aac audio codec. gst-libav is installed.
