I got a dell xps 9720 recently and installed arch. The touchpad is unreliable in Xorg and frequently does not respond at all. I tried different drivers like synaptics and libinput. Should I get the touchpad replaced?
Are there any settings I can try?

Hello, I have a laptop XPS 17 9720 running arch linux with KDE 5.27.4 and I have the exact same issue
it works great until it doesn't the mouse then sticks and i can't get it to move i think it has ybsomething to do with the disalbe trackpad while typing but i'm not sure
anybody who can help me with how i could fix this would be great thanks
