Hello, I have an hp 15-eg200x laptop, with a touchscreen, which seems to only work on windows (tested), and it probably relies on a synaptics driver (since I got it work on windows after installing the synaptics touchpad driver).
It doesn't actually appear on lsusb, so I think it is not supported by the kernel:
