Hello, first post so sorry if I'm not as initially helpful.
relevant info:
running gnome desktop environment
alsa-firmware 1.2.4-3
alsa-tools 1.2.5-2
alsa-utils 1.2.8-1
pipewire 1:0.3.69-2

pulseaudio-bluetooth 16.1-6
I've been having issues on my HP Envy x360 with getting the speakers(bang and olufsen) to work.
I found some reported fixes online but I can't seem to get them to work (see below)
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189331
I attempted following a pinout guide with hdajackretask but one issue i ran into is I noticed that the codec they were using(Realtek ALC245)doesn't seem to be present
anywhere else on my machine aside from hdajackretask. I wasn't sure if this is what I should be seeing for my output devices or maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Also when applying the recommended pinout, it seems to hang indefinitely.
I alternatively tried to apply a boot override to no avail.
Would appreciate the help, let me know what more information I can provide.
!

Hey, just yesterday I forked a script that supposedly makes sound work under debian/ubuntu by creating a dkms module.
I did it for a friend, for whom it didn't work… Maybe you can give it a shot, and we'll see.
Here is the source code. Run it on your own responsibility.
Greetings
Grigorios
