What is the right permission of ibus directory?

I am trying to get grive (AUR) to work on my installation, but I get an error about ./.config/ibus ... permission denied.
Permission is set to 700 owner root:root. Of course, I am talking about personal directory, not a system or global directory.
I think it's wrong, but, I don't want to loose the permission to much to not create a security issue.

do I Have to take ownership of the directoy? Do I have to loose to something like 755 (or is it too much)??

TIA

Nothing in your home directory should be owned by root.

Ok, done and it works of course. I was undecided because ibus was about (I think) some system service ...
