Hello,
since some days im trying to get my steering wheel running on archlinux.
i started following this:
https://github.com/ZRtmWrJqXcjbqBLIMBYM … nel-Driver
and already tryed to patch new-lg4ff with this patch someone created:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/li … chive=both
because native new-lg4ff only supports the PS4 and PC version.
https://github.com/berarma/new-lg4ff
but i really need help because i dont get it to work.
i was able to change the src (after compiling with make the files created and can be modified) of hid-ids.h using this patch:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/li … gmail.com/
but to make logitech g923 running i also need to patch hid-logitech-hidpp.c, but this file dont exists officialy or im just to dump...
so as i see it should be possible but the question is how to get it to work at the end of the day and i dont know what i have to do now. i was able to install new-lg4ff but without the patch it wont detect the device in oversteer.
unfortunately there is not really an easy way for the steering wheel yet. apparently hardly anyone is interested...
I also don't want to sell mine and then buy it again (PS4 Edition) more expensive, that would be a loss.
a windows vm is the very last thing I want because native is just better and windows is the biggest garbage.
Does anyone have the time to look at it with me? it seems that someone has made a patch but it is apparently not easy to integrate.
Best Regards
