This is probably more a gripe than an actual system issue.
Normally, the terminal says Titan@archlinux, but now it says user@node-1w7jr9yc46oxw6dbaetsufum1, and im not sure what that means, and how I can make it into archlinux again.
It shows this after I open a second terminal, especially after opening cutefish, but I have seen it on the login page, in place of arch linux
Weird issue

This is a configuration difference. (e.g., in this case, for some reason, $PROMPT, or $PS1). It's not clear to me that this would be a change made by arch (or, more accurately, by the upstream developers of, say your shell), rather than a difference in how you configured your system than you might otherwise expect.
I'm also not clear on what you're asking here. If you're wanting to change it, look into your shell's manual for formatting the prompt.
All the best,

"Titan@archlinux" sounds as if you don't have a static hostname and that likely get's changed.
Fix that, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Networ … e_hostname
"user@node-" kinda yells docker, though …
*before* you go about your hostname and when the prompt is "user@node-*", what's the output of "hostnamectl"
And because of the "user@" thing, please post your shell rc

My terminal stopped doing that after I set the hostname to a custom name. Not sure where the node thing came from, but it didn't break functionality, so its not that big of a deal, purely cosmetic.
