Hey,
I have an issue with slow detection of my external monitor. It can take up to around 10 min of screen blinking, before my monitor is detected.
- Only happens on waking up from suspend / hibernation
- If I unplug and plug-in HDMI cable, it instantly detects my external monitor.
- You can see video of my issue here.
- Journalctl logs are here. Logs start at 22:22, when I wake up my laptop. External monitor is detected at 22:30.
I'm using:
- Gnome 43.4
- X11
- Nvidia proprietary drivers 530.41.03
- Kernel 61 LTS
I've tried:
- Open source Nvidia drivers. Fixes this issues, but I switched to proprietary, due to other issues tough.
- Adding monitor configuration to xorg.conf.d
