kernel: gspca_vc032x: reg_r err -32

Trying to understand the message in the title from running "# journalctl -p 3 -b" as recommended.

Background: Very newbie installed Arch a couple of days ago. (Have run Linux Mint for some years, but not much beyond the basics.) Base installation runs fine, solved most issues, connects to internet and NAS.

This is the only place with "failed" in dmesg (apart from a couple of no consequence)

In part of dmesg I find:

Couldn't find any help from a few posts after searching the kernel section of this forum. Googling it seems it might be something to do with my webcam which the above might or might not confirm. I have not found clues to "reg_r err".

If it's the webcam I can defer finding a solution to this for a while since I have a lot more to do to set this box up and use it before I might want to use the webcam.

So please respond with clues / where to look, or suggest I defer until later.

It's the webcam, so defer or check what would happen if you attempt to use it
