I am having issues with one of my external screens not being recognized after my laptop wakes up from sleep mode. The screen is connected via a docking station through a type-c connection(the other screen connected via HDMI port in the laptop and works fine).
I have to unplug and replug the cable for it to work again. I suspect that this issue may be due to the type-c connection needing to be refresh or redefined. I am considering creating a script in the "/usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep/" folder to refresh the connection every time the laptop wakes up from sleep mode. Is this a viable solution, or are there better alternatives?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
