I've just reinstall my arch, then quick -Suy to voodoo. After that, like in wiki:
pacman -S kernel26beyond ati-fglrx-utils ati-fglrx-beyond
and restart. No idea why it doesn't work
Here's my xorg.conf and some logs:

maybe your card isnt supported by the official ati driver anymore

from arch wiki page :
ATI Desktop Product Family Support
The ATI Proprietary Linux driver is designed to support the following ATI desktop products:
[...]
* Radeon® 9200 series

The wiki page is out of date. The ATI proprietary drivers do not support the 9250 series or lower cards anymore which use the R200 drivers. However, they work well with the "radeon" open source drivers in Xorg.

The wiki page also said that was from the 8.25 version of fglrx - the current version in the repos is 8.32. I've updated the wiki page with a (hopefully) less misleading message.

But ET won't work with open driver (not as good as with ATI). So I have to get old ATI drivers?

Husio,
Yup, it's an old card, get a brand new one

I play ET, and I use open source driver only.

Can you paste your PC params?
I have Athlon 1.3GHz 512ram and Radeon 9200. Sometimes it's not enought even with non-open drivers.

Currently Athlon 3000+ and Radeon 9800 Pro, but I played ET on Athlon 1800+ with Radeon 9100.
Have you tried to set performance options in ET?

So it looks like 16 colors game?
I'll try with commercial drivers until open one will be good enought to use
