Kernel for KVM?

Hi,

I'm currently running Arch with the Zen kernel, mostly for gaming.

I want to go back to gaming and multimedia in dedicated VM's with VFIO.

Is it better to use linux-zen, or just normal linux kernel on my Arch host?

Does this choice also affect the functions/abilities of the kernels in the VM's?

(i78700K, 32GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Nvidia 1080GTX)
