Bluetooth Audio disconnects and reconnects endlessly.

Hi all.

I have several bluetooth speakers of different brands and i get a very lousy behavior using them with Arch.

When connected, the speakers will disconnect and reconnect endlessly, unless outputting audio. I can connect any bluetooth audio device and use it for hours and it will not disconnect, but if i stop the music for a minute it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting with about 20 seconds intervals.

I found several older threads with bluetooth issues mentionning different fixes but none of the work. Deleting the /var/lib/bluetooth folder with a service restart didn't work and downgrading packages to very old versions is a no-go.

I have no idea where to start to debug this.

Anyone faced something similar?
