Hello all,
I recently purchased a Brother QL-700 printer, and installed the drivers provided by Brother. The printer works, but I encountered one problem, for which I hope that somebody already solved this... I would like to print free length labels using a continuous tape. Brother has some FAQ entries for this:
* https://www.brother.ee/support/ql-700/f … 100418_001
* https://www.brother.ee/support/ql-700/f … 100409_000
But when I add a format using this command to add a format, for example for 62 mm width label roll and a length of 34 mm, set this format as the default format in CUPS and try to print a test page, the printer LED turns red to indicate a problem (properly a wrong label size). I suspect that the parameters for the brpapertoollpr command need some tweaking. This is the command I used:
brpapertoollpr_ql700 -P ql700 -n "62 mm x 34 mm" -w 62 -h 34Best,
Jens
