[SOLVED] Wireless interface not recognized after system upgrade

After a recent upgrade I logged into gnome to find that I'm not able to connect to a wireless network. My wireless interface doesn't appear:

❯ ifconfig
enp0s20f0u7: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        inet 192.168.44.127  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.44.255
        inet6 fe80::2811:85a4:cff2:cfcd  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20<link>
        ether 38:ba:f8:10:24:61  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 8387  bytes 4397409 (4.1 MiB)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 8758  bytes 2207584 (2.1 MiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

enp0s31f6: flags=4099<UP,BROADCAST,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        ether 8c:16:45:e7:0d:a4  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0
        device interrupt 16  memory 0xec100000-ec120000

lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING>  mtu 65536
        inet 127.0.0.1  netmask 255.0.0.0
        inet6 ::1  prefixlen 128  scopeid 0x10<host>
        loop  txqueuelen 1000  (Local Loopback)
        RX packets 2757  bytes 216683 (211.6 KiB)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 2757  bytes 216683 (211.6 KiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

The top interface is a BT tether so I can diagnose the problem, middle is my ethernet.
Definitely have wireless hardware though:

❯ lspci -k | grep -A 3 Network
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (rev 78)
	Subsystem: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 [Windstorm Peak]
	Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
	Kernel modules: iwlwifi

Edit:
Rebooted twice to shrink my journal as much as I could and on the second time the problem's vanished. I'll return to this post if it occurs again.
