I've installed IBus in order to type in Japanese. It works perfectly fine on applications without firejail not using firejail. If you disable firejail, it even works on the applications I'm now having problems with perfectly fine. I can't even type in Chromium or LibreOffice when IBus is turned on, but Firefox just turns everything into English. It probably just ignores IBus somehow. I would have put this in the newbie corner because I'm a newb, but I feel this problem might be a better fit here.
