Plymouth dropping to console for luksOpen

I have a fresh installation of Arch with Plymouth and encrypted LVM configured.

Whilst is is working, plymouth is dropping to console at the begining when it asks for the luksOpen password.

If I press the ESC key it does brings the graphical prompt for password, albeit not using the theme it's a grey screen with the password request in the middle.

On my previous laptop this was working fine, I had the theme with DELL and ARCH logos and a box to enter the password.

Not sure where the issue is, any ideas?

Right, after searching around I found the solution.

Adding "quiet splash" to the end of my kernel parameters did the trick.
