Ok I am looking for a pcmcia wifi card that works and someone has installed with Arch. It needs to be a recent model I know many have older hardware versions that work and the newer hw ver don't work. So hopefully someone has purchased a card within the last say couple months that works first shot. If you have post the model number and maybe even possible link to where ya bought it. Oh and no ebay ones..:) Those tend to be older referb ones..:)

But also tend to work if they are true 802.11b cards ;-) (I got both mine from ebay)

I have a Netgear WG311 802.11g that works great using the madwifi driver. Picked it up right around Christmas time from Staples, but I hear there is a version floating around that uses the Broadcom drivers, and it's a crapshoot whether or not you get that version.

Yeah alot of the newer cards are using realtek, broadcomm and such pretty much the cheapo chips.. I ordered a card that has promise it's a netear that is a prism2 chipset. Talked to the place on the phone and if it doesn't work they will give me my money back so it's worth a shot.
