How to add another recording device to loopback line in audio?

Hi, what I'm looking for is for a way to add another recording device so I can use both my mic and line in audio. I've found a way to loopback the audio of my line in so I could listen to both my Nintendo Switch and PC at the same time, the problem with this is that because I only have one recording device on KDE audio settings, I can only choose between line in and microphone, meaning that I can't use any type of voice chat while playing on my switch. Is there any solution to this?

I'm using KDE and Pulseaudio.

You might be looking for something like Helvum (sudo pacman -S helvum). With that, you should be able to join two audio outputs into one and select that one for recording. Helvum is for Pipewire though, not Pulseaudio. You should be able to install pipewire pipewire-pulse, as well as any other pipewire frontends you need. Not sure if Helvum will work directly with Pulseaudio or not, but Pipewire should be a drop-in replacement.

This is mostly up to profile logistics, you need to enable a profile that allows selecting both at the same time. What's your current status here

amixer -c0 #or whatever the correct card index of your audio card is
pactl list cards
pactl list sources
