The issue I have is that when I load SteamVR, the headset does not play audio. The device does work for the video expected, however audio instead goes to the default headset (normal earbuds) and via pavucontrol there is no available audio device to output the VR audio to.
I had the headset working great a few months ago, but over the last (too many) hours have not been able to for the life of me figure out what caused this issue since then.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone had a similar issue and could share their lessons, or has any ideas which might show what the issue is.
