Setting Up Dual Boot with Windows and Encrypted Btrfs on Arch

Hey folks,

I'm here to seek some assistance and advice from the awesome Arch Linux community. I've managed to pull off a dual boot setup before, running Windows and Arch Linux with a Btrfs file system. It worked out pretty well, thanks to guides like this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xynotc9BKe8.

Now, I want to achieve something similar on another system, encrypting the Arch Linux installation using LUKS2.  Encryption has me feeling a bit uncertain because it seems a tad complicated for my current skill level. So, I plan on following the installation guide on the Arch Wiki, but I have a feeling I might need some extra help along the way to tackle the encryption part.

I found a potentially relevant guide on the Arch Wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/User:Z … ecure_Boot. However, there's a little disclaimer in that guide stating "Dual-booting or multiple OS on a single drive is out of scope of this guide. "

So, my question to you knowledgeable folks is: What additional steps should I take if I decide to follow that guide? Should I securely erase the disk first, install Windows, and then proceed with installing Arch Linux? Or are there other factors I need to consider?

Thanks a ton in advance!
