Hi!
I love the Terminus-Font, but its too big @ size 14.
When i use it with xft, it works @ size 12, but the bold fonts are too fat, so a "m" is completly filled.
I "fixed" it by removing the bold font, but now i cant use ncmpc anymore, because the current title is printed in bold, the other files are normal. Now theres nothing bold anymore, so i cant see the difference.
So is there a possibility to get a readable bold terminus font @ size 12?

Don't know wether you mean this by removing, but if the bold font is useless I'd replace it by the normal font. I did this with urxvt and Bitstream Vera because I don't like bold fonts in my terminal:
urxvt*font: xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:size=8:antialias:true
urxvt*boldFont: xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:size=8:antialias:true
With this you don't have any bold fonts but your ncmpc title should be there in normal. (:
Hail to the thief!

i did it this way with terminus:
urxvt*font: xft:terminus:pixelsize=12
urxvt*boldFont: xft:terminus:pixelsize=12
but ncmpc isnt usable
edit:
made it usable by changing colors.
but maybe theres a true solution?

There isn't, Terminus at 12 pixels size lacks bold version.
Setting bold colors (urxvt*color[8-15]) would be a way to go.
