why is gaim 2.0 beta 5 in repositories yet?

Is there a reason why the version in the current repository is still 2.0 beta 3.1, even though beta 5 has been out for a long time?

I guess i should compile my own copy?

You can use gaim-svn from unstable. It has been quite stable for me and has considerable improvements over beta 5 so I don't really miss it.

ahh... I was actually saw gaim-svn a while ago and was thinking of installing it, but I thought it disappeared because I couldn't find it with pacman -Ss.  Turns out all I had to do was enable the unstable repository.

thanks
