Resolution decrease in some applications in hyprland

I just installed hyprland (also tried hyprland-nvidia-git, had the same problem). GPU: nvidia RTX 3070, CPU: intel i7-12700H.
Resolution decreased in some applications like chromium, vscode. But others like kitty, wofi looked good. (Someone told me it's xwayland issue)

Re: Resolution decrease in some applications in hyprland

It is an xwayland issue in combination with non-standard scaling, but both chromium and vscode (since it's chromium) can be launched in wayland native mode: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Chromi … nd_support and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Visual … er_Wayland

Thank you, but I think it's a lot of trouble to configure every chromium application to launch in wayland native mode. Is there any method to make them launch in wayland native mode globally? (like setting some environment variables in .xprofile, etc.)

Afaik no, and also depending on what you are using they might have a too old electron version that's not compatible yet or similar
