Thunderbird Drag-N-Drop Fails..

Hi There,

I'm using latest Thunderbird in the repo (1.5.0.9-1). But I can't drag a mail into the folders as I used to... Is there a reason for that ?

I can't help you, but I have the same problem. I can move mails only with right click on the mail in the list -> move to -> ...

Re: Thunderbird Drag-N-Drop Fails..

As it still worked some days ago, one of the last updates I installed today may be the cause. Did you update recently, too?

Let me check /var/cache/pacman/pkg:
xpdf
openldap
ntp
libmysqlclient
libldap
lesstiff
gtk2-2.10.7-1    (this one?)
grub
glib2-2.12.7.1    (or that one?)
cdrkit

I assume a bug in either in new gtk2 or glib2 package.

Re: Thunderbird Drag-N-Drop Fails..

Very probably related: I experienced problems in moving bookmarks in Firefox today - it didn't work at all. When I started Firefox in xterm I saw GTK2 error messages; I downgraded to gtk2 2.10.6, and it worked again.

Re: Thunderbird Drag-N-Drop Fails..

I opened bug report 6193 for actual gtk2 package. Downgrading solves the problem here, too.
