[SOLVED] Replace Kernel Driver from nouveau to nvidia

Hello,

When I run the command

lspci -k | grep -EA3 'VGA|3D|Display'

I get the output that the kernel driver in use is nouveau. I have a nvidia card with the driver installed from the repositories.

I looked on the Arch Wiki's Nvidia and nouveau pages and could not find out how to change it from nouveau to nvidia.

I did some searching on the internet and nothing that I could find because I don't know what I am searching for.

Can you please point me in the right direction?

See the NVIDIA wiki page. Did you skip step 5?

Thank you, Scimmia! I overlooked that for whatever reason. Everything is all set now.
