[SOLVED] Why my Arch is too slow to open browser and compressed files?

I don't know why become too slow. was not like this. Someone can help me? Thanks in Advance.

and/or run the effected programs from a terminal and see if there is any useful info or errors

are you using gnome ? if not then remove the 'xdg-desktop-portal' package, there are many threads about this recently

are you using gnome ? if not then remove the 'xdg-desktop-portal' package, there are many threads about this recently

I tried to remove but is required by cinnamon and flatpak

ok thanks! Solve the issue with files compressed, but the browser opens in 20s. I don't know if it's because of the Vivaldi is to heavy to my system.

1. has vivaldi previously opened faster?
2. reboot, open vivaldi and then, if it still lags, please post your complete system journal for the boot:

There're no apparent errors.
"ST500LT012-9WS142" is a spinner, you've <4GB RAM and a i3-3110M isn't the fastest processor.
Do subsequent starts of vivaldi take equally long?
How long precisely (until you see a window, not until vivaldi is ready)?
Is it faster w/ a fresh profile?

only in the first time takes at least 20s but after open in the first time when you close and open again is not too slow is very fast.

Vivaldi is a chunky piece of software, loading all that from a not-so-fast HDD can take a moment.

There's no dbus timeout from xdg-portal anymore, did vivaldi previousy start faster and does it start faster w/ a fresh profile?

I don't know what you say with "fresh profile" please can you explain? Firefox was too slow too. If you reboot and start Vivaldi it takes 20s to open but after open for the first time if you close the browser and open again takes ~4-6s

Because now the files are all in the cache.

Start vivaldi (slow), quit vivaldi.
Start vivaldi (fast), quit vivaldi.

"echo 3 | sudo tee /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches" drops the file caches and you've to read everything from the HDD again => the only cause is your slow HDD.
