Bootable usb failure (destroys a computer when plugged in)

So I bought a 256GB USB Disk and was using it to try ArchLinux. I had failed multiple times but finally got a good running system that I could daily drive after about a month and I had used it since then for another 3months or so. So by then I had a fair amount of knowledge of how to keep the system as stable as I wanted it While having the newest features possible. To skip the long story though I was downloading darling one day a mac equivalent of wine and I was just trying it out I’m assuming during the compiling of all the C it got to hot is my assumption and caused some errors. Now at this time it still would boot but not pass the SDDM. At the time I had some notes on how to fix it because I ran into the issues previously and fixed it. So I went into recovery mode to fix it and ran a few commands which I don’t remember and then it crashed. Now after that point it has not been “bootable” so going into boot menu it’s not visible and I also made a backup of arch linux that was on the laptop’s internal drive but it doesn’t have all my files which makes me look dumb. Anyways I went into a few different partition managers and tried to just see if it popped up or what. And basically it doesn’t, sometimes it does but it will say like sda/sda1  50% loaded on kde and then it loads after a couple minutes and it just shows sda and the name of the drive and some details but very little compared to most usb when plugged in. Anyways I’m assuming it’s the lack of support for F2FS which is what that system ran on. I also tried to use some CLI tools and some commands and those showed more info which I can show to whoever tries to helps me. But yea Just trying to see if anyone knows how to help. I can probably get more info on the situation and what not but basically as of now it’s just a usb that will freeze linux as it boots and stop some processes. On windows it just bricks the system and kinda destroys it
