Hi,
I’ve read the news about the change from livetex-core to livetex-basic.
If I try to update the system, there is a message telling that about 400MB are going to be removed, and I don’t know if that will break my current livetex install. So:
What steps should I follow to update and keep the same livetex files that I have installed now?
Thanks a lot for your help
Pablo

The news item mentions ways to figure out which packages you need and an alternative if you just want almost anything of texlive .
Re-read the last line of the newsitem.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
