Hi, so I have having a problem with my Arch Linux recently where to be expected my root partition is getting increasingly filled up. I realized that there isn't a reason for me to even have a root partition as it would just make it more complicated, like what is happening now. I have looked into merging the root and home partition, but it gets really complicated when you factor in the fact that they are encrypted. My current idea is to backup the home partition with rsync, then delete, resize the root partition to use empty space, then restore the home folder. Though I don't know if could possibly mess up any links to directories in some programs.
