Joycon latency with more than 1 paired controller

I should have given it more than 10 minutes of testing - turns out the issue below is not resolved. I've ordered a realtek BT5 dongle for testing but if anyone has any tips on this that would be great.

----
I was struggling with latency with joycons on a latte panda 3 delta handhled with archlinux/x11/sxmo. I came across this reddit post which fixed latency for another controller and it solved the issue for me with my joycons. Now it works as 2 controllers or a combined controller with low latency as a switch does.

Issue:
One joycon connected latency ok.
Two connected - i'd say about 300ms or more latency on one of them.

Environment:
Arch Linux x86
KERNEL 6.3.9-arch1-1
intel n5105. Built in intel BT/Wi-Fi 6 AX201

Related packages:
aur - joycond-git
aur - nintendo-udev
aur - sdl2-jtest-git
steam
retroarch

This seems to improve latency with the second controller but does not eliminate it:

Edit /etc/bluetooth/main.conf and restart the Bluetooth service or reboot:

[LE]
MinConnectionInterval=7
MaxConnectionInterval=9
ConnectionLatency=0

Re: Joycon latency with more than 1 paired controller

Just received a RTL8761B usb bluetooth radio and after a few minutes in the sdl2 test application the issue is also present. Might just have to ditch the joycons
