[SOLVED] Mpv fails use pipewire audio devices on first launch

From what I can tell, mpv only fails on the first launch after restarts, with these errors in its output:

[ao] Failed to initialize audio driver 'pipewire'
Could not open/initialize audio device -> no sound.
Audio: no audio

I have this line in my config

audio-device=pipewire
