microphone not work for asus motherboard

Hi, i have a motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX B760-F GAMING WIFI. I connect my headphones in front jack the audio works correctly but the microphone not work.

updates:
I have a headset connected to the front case via 3.5mm jack. The audio output is heard without problems.
The microphone turns out to have a very low volume, I tried to increase it using the command

pactl set-source-volume alsa_input.usb-Generic_USB_Audio-00.HiFi__hw_Audio_2__source 999999999999999999

the situation improves but the quality becomes bad. Anyone have any ideas?
