Boot stuck at "loading initial ramdisk" after kernel upgrade

Hello y'all,

today I upgraded my kernel from Linux 6.1.27.hardened1-2 -> 6.4.6.hardened1-1.
After rebooting I got stuck at "loading initial ramdisk". After searching around a bit I found out that adding nomodeset to the grub config works fine. So I looked up what nomodeset does and it said something about not loading video drivers 'til X is loaded and I remembered that I activated an Option in my BIOS for Multi-Monitor setups a few months ago. After deactivating this option my Arch is booting fine without the nomodeset parameter. I have no idea why. The previous kernel worked fine with Multi-Monitor activated. Maybe you are able to tell me whats going on here? Any help would be appreciated.
