Second monitor stopped working in sddm and xorg after upgrade [SOLVED]

Hello, I've encountered a strange problem, after upgrading Arch Linux, the second monitor stopped working. It feels like the display is not just black, but turned off. At the same time, the display shows that the screen is working, the system sees it and there are no errors in the log.

The screen manager has the same situation (!) as I described in the paragraph above.

The monitor is definitely intact, it works as it should if you roll back to a previous system snapshot. The problem persists for half a year now.

I have Arch Linux installed with KDE Plasma and xorg, with sddm (+ sddm-kcm package) as screen manager.

My video card and driver used (GeForce GT 730 + nouveau):

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 730] (rev a1)
01:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 730] (rev a1)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. GF108 [GeForce GT 730]
        Kernel driver in use: nouveau

xrandr outputs (when both monitors are connected):

My `/var/log/Xorg.0.log` attached separately: https://pastebin.com/e6W5LKqn

What I tried and what I noticed (might help somehow to solve the problem):
- Tried changing resolutions on both monitors to put different hertzones, the result is that at unacceptable parameters for the monitor it "shut down" as if there was no signal from the PC. At all acceptable parameters just black screen and indication that the monitor works.
- I tried to change the monitor outputs and its settings through physical buttons on it, but the screen does not light up, modes do not change. It's very strange when plugged in, it just ignores button presses, never noticed this before.
- Disabling and enabling the monitor both while the system is running, and before or after its startup did not give any results. I tried disconnecting it both with buttons and by pulling out the wire.
- Changing the "main" monitor.

When physically disconnecting the monitor, I get this error in the log:

desktop-pc kernel: i2c i2c-8: sendbytes: NAK bailout.
desktop-pc kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: DRM: DDC responded, but no EDID for HDMI-A-1

To be honest I'm confused, I don't even know which way to dig, there are no errors, I haven't found similar topics on forums, the driver seems to be working as it should. I have studied these resources, but there is no help:

Re: Second monitor stopped working in sddm and xorg after upgrade [SOLVED]

   1920x1080i 60.00*+ 60.00 59.94

Did you try to set it to a non-interlaced mode?

xrandr --HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080

GF108 … nouveau

Did you consider https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/nvidia-390xx-dkms/ ?

Hi. Thank you very much for your response. At this point I want to rule out the possibility of a hardware problem. I have connected both monitors via DVI and VGA and they work....

There could be a problem with the video card. I'm going to test this and report back here later.

As a result, it turned out to be a physical malfunction of the system board. Topic closed.
