Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 11 - Overheating

On a fresh install of Arch Linux running Plasma, the Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 11 seems to be overheating. Or at least the keyboard is unpleasantly hot to touch.

I have installed thermald and enabled the system service, and rebooted the laptop. For the moment, I am cooling the laptop down by powering it off. But should I be doing something in addition to thermald, to keep the temperatures tolerable?

Also, I have the latest firmware updates using fwupd, as well as intel-ucode installed.
