[SOLVED] nVidia GPU not recognized

Hello, I run an issue, I have miss clicked in BIOS F9 rather than F10, so than I had to disable integrity checking in Windows to be able to boot in Linux and now my nvidia card is not recognized at all.

System:

Re: [SOLVED] nVidia GPU not recognized

And how are you determining that it's not recognized? You have some junk kernel command line parameters, get rid of those, but they shouldn't be causing a problem. What *is* the problem?

Re: [SOLVED] nVidia GPU not recognized

Don't grep for nonsense.
The kernel module is called "nvidia", regardless of the kernel.

Please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io

Also

pacman -Qs 'nvidia|kernel'
lspci -k

Re: [SOLVED] nVidia GPU not recognized

empty out

It'll either post a URL or an error.
In doubt your journal is massively bloated, try

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

That being said: the device doesn't show up in lspci at all, did you perhaps simply deactive it in the BIOS?

No, I checked BIOS, I see this card there, and I did not find any possibility to deactivate it

Re: [SOLVED] nVidia GPU not recognized

There's absolutely no trace of any nvidia device in that journal.
You're not gonna fix this OS-wise.

I had to disable integrity checking in Windows

3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

miss clicked in BIOS F9 rather than F10

And what does F9 do in your BIOS?

Windows and Linux are installed on different ssd, and more they are not plugged at the same time.
F9 resets the BIOS configuration, that is why INTEGRITY CHECKING was reactivated on my device.

It is absolutrely irrelevant where you installed what or what is plugged where, as long as windows is in hibernation you've two OS operating the same hardware.
