Polybar issues with BSPWM

Hi
I installed Arch with BSPWM window manager and polybar.  When i start an x sesson the bar does not appear.  When i restart "super+alt+r" the bar works. I am a new to this and cant seem to determine what the issue is.  I would think it would be the .xinitrc that has an error but i dont know enough to determine that.

need more info, how are you starting x and bspwm ? if your using xinitrc please post your '.xinitrc' and 'bspwmrc' files
