Hello, immediately after i boot in my system and i open my window manager i type the command "firefox &" to start the browsing, but i have to wait 10 seconds, then this appear
[GFX1-]: vaapitest: ERROR
[GFX1-]: vaapitest: VA-API test failed: failed to initialise VAAPI connectioATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment.
ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment.
ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment.
and then firefox appears. Then after I've done this once and i close the browser i can open it a lot faster, like in less then 1 second.
Can someone help me fixing this issue?

the "mesa_glthread overridden" is harmless, the top 2 lines suggest you haven't setup hw acceleration correctly .
How to do that depends on your videocard(s) , check https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Hardwa … celeration

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Thanks a lot, i'll try to check what you suggested. What do you think looking at this.

It looks ok, but i965 is an old driver and Sandybridge is also rather old .
please post full outputs of

Please use [ code ] tags for program output, not [ quote ] . see https://bbs.archlinux.org/help.php#bbcode
Outputs confirm the va info output is correct amnd your system has 1 videocard, an intel integrated gpu .
getting HW videoa accel working in browsers can be tricky, check https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Firefo … celeration thoroughly .
