Freeze, no more boot (stops after 1"): libata, raid or

Hi,

Yesterday after the system froze, I rebooted only to discover it doesn't boot. Here's what it prints *half a seconde* after Grub :
d024aaeeac_tn.png
i.e. the system do not even boot and parameters like 'break=y' are unusable, whether i use fallback or standard image, add 'noapi' & 'nolapic'.

This is a 10 days old new install with Arch64 0.8 ISO (2006-12-19). With /boot is on separate partition (ext2), & rest of the system on raid + lvm2 (ext3).

Single "visible" issue was a freeze with the screen all kind of dashed last Tuesday.

Other than that, I've fsck'ed all the FS from within a livecd (1) and there was some FS HAS BEEN MODIFIED statements, but they're all readable after i activate raid arrays and lvm from some other distro.
I eventually got back every log from arch64 until it froze, and will provide any of them in detail if requested. Here is some of them :
pacman.log

In kernel.log the 1st alert is from Wednesday 10 (uh, what's that dm_mod:dm_table stuff?)

(1) Notes
Hardware is not an issue AFAIK:
- Since then i booted with Sabayon 0.26, Mandriva (Move 2007 then I installed Powerpack x86_64 on it), and INSERT. Currently writing from MDV livecd.
Still, Sabayon booted fine once, then have never finished 3 more times!?
- Also run Memtest86+ for 2 hours without a single error. Hitachi "Fitness test" (lol) says the 2 disks are okay.

Re: Freeze, no more boot (stops after 1"): libata, raid or

Andy i've seen that issue.
Now this has to do with Failed chunks right ? Does this explain why the whole system freeze 1/2 seconds after boot time ?
I had no problems running r/libtorrent under arch64 w/ kernel2.6.19 since weeks.
Maybe cause I'm seeding much more than downloading, dunno. Anyway I downloaded at least 3 files with rtorrent on that kernel without issue (md5sum OK).
