lmsensors reporting error sensor temp1 (wifi)

Full system update to  6.4.11-arch2-1, p

On the mate-panel I have the hardware sensors applet that is a display feature reading from lmsensors (I think).

I am getting a popup error reporting error updating sensor temp 1    (...wifi..) This just started a couple hours ago but the full upgrade happened 2 days ago.

From the command line this looks okay

> sensors
iwlwifi_1-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1:        +46.0 C  
...

But the journal shows an issue that concludes with the line

ieee80211 phy0: Hardware restart was requested

I have performed a system reboot but the issue persists.
