XPS 13 9320 no usb option? [solved]

I've found helpful articles about arch on this machine including what BIOS settings to use, but the BIOS of my new XPS 13 plus 9320 does not seem to offer a way to boot from a usb stick or general uefi, just two, the disc and https.

I have turned off secure boot.  I have tested my arch linux install stick on another dell successfully.

Maybe they have changed the bios?  Any ideas would be appreciated.

First two google hits:
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/de … lang=en-us
https://recoverit.wondershare.com/usb-t … m-usb.html

=> Try F12 and in doubt (and general, it's not usable w/ a dual boot system) disable windows-fast start.

Thanks for the suggestions. I now understand better. I was led to a more careful debugging and discovered that the adaper for usb that cam with the machine is "moody", but I have now gotten it to work!
